Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a famous British stage and film actress who gained popularity after she was a part of the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) The show aired on BBC channel. Gugu achieved a lot of recognition for her role as Tish Jones, the daughter of a major character called Martha Jones, in the show. Her fans loved her cheerful enthusiasm and she had no turning back for Gugu after a successful acting career! Gugu also appeared in various British stage and television productions. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25 of 1975 in Livingston, New Jersey. Handler was the youngest of six children in her family. Her mother worked as employed as a housekeeper, and her father worked as a used-car dealer. Her mother was a German immigrants who arrived in this country in United States in 1958. In 1989 Handler was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away ten years later. The father of Handler was Jewish and she was brought to Reform Judaism. Handler was born in a pleasant neighborhood and she had a very pleasant childhood. When she was in her early 20s, Handler relocated into Los Angeles in order to take on acting. To help support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. However, when she was just 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full time as she was able to discover her storytelling talents. Handler's first professional gig was as part of the all-female Oxygen TV cast in the hidden camera comedy series Girls Behaving in a way that isn't normal. The show ran on air from 2002 through 2005. The handler then began appearing in several other shows like Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also a the correspondent host on The Tonight Show. Her breakthrough came in 2006 after she started hosting her own show on E! named The Chelsea Handler Show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for 2 seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. Her stand-up performances have been broadcast by VH1 as well as Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. In 2010 she was informed that she would host at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. She was the only woman to ever host VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
